Durham Attractions - Durham Cathedral
The present Cathedral has stood on this spot as a place of prayer and pilgrimage
for over 900 years. Durham Cathedral is one of the most beautiful
buildings in England and part of a World Heritage Site. The Cathedral
houses the shrine of the seventh-century saint, Cuthbert of Lindisfarne
with several objects on display in The Treasures which date back to Cuthbert
