St Paul's
Cathedral is the masterpiece of Britain's most admired architect,
Sir Christopher Wren. Building commenced in 1675 and the final stone
was laid on the Lantern in October 1708, on Sir Christopher's 76th
birthday. With its splendid dome, soaring arches and
intricate carving, Wren had created an icon for the nation. Visit the St.
