Fingals Cave
Fingals cave is on the uninhabited island of Staffa. The
island’s
distinctive six-sided columns of rock are formed from basalt, the same
as the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland. During spring and early
summer, the cliffs and grassy slopes provide nesting sites for various
seabirds including guillemots, razorbills and puffins. Click
here for more information on Fingals cave.
