Boat on Worthing Beach, West Sussex
There are a couple of dozen of these brightly coloured small craft hauled up on to the shingle bank on this stretch of the coast. Below the shingle a gently sloping sandy shore is exposed as the tide falls. Worthing Pier is one kilometre (about 1000 yards) distant. In the centre of the picture I see the Worthing Beach Patrol Inspector approaching on his quad-bike!
