Marshal's Lake, Bedgebury Pinetum, Kent
Bedgebury Pinetum was established as the National Conifer Collection in 1925 when it was discovered that air pollution made Kew an unsuitable site. It now has the most complete collection of conifers on one site anywhere in the world with over 10,000 tree specimens growing in 320 acres.
