Castle
Alnwick Castle is
the second largest inhabited Castle in England, the first being Windsor Castle,
and has been the home of the Percys, Earls and Dukes of Northumberland since
1309. Alnwick Castle offers much to the visitor, not just in the beauty and
history of the castle but in the garden project, the country walks in wonderful
scenery, restaurant, shop, museums and a host of other entertainments.
This medieval castle in Northumberland has stunning State Rooms which contain
fine furniture and paintings by Canaletto, Van Dyck and Titian. If you
