Swaledale Holiday Cottages
Swaledale offers a beautiful Dales experience and is a great location for a cottage holiday. The landscape was created during the last ice age when ice broadened the valleys smoothing the contours. Generations of farmers and miners have since influenced the Swaledale landscape further. The area is very popular with walkers and offers more seclusion than other dales being more remote with no large settlements.
