- Heights of Abraham
Derbyshire has something for everyone - from dales to moorlands, historic stately homes to spectacular underground caverns. Since 1984 visitors have arrived using the country’s first ever alpine style cable car system.

Two guided tours deep within the hillside. In the Masson Pavilion discover how the sea, volcanos and ice shaped the caverns, and then walk underground along the well-lit passages into the Great Masson Cavern itself. Visit the Prospect Tower for panoramic views of the area. Children can let off steam in the two adventure play areas. Hi Café which is open throughout day serving a delicious range of light lunches, snacks and homemade treats. American Adventure Theme Park
The Park is undergoing a major facelift over the next two years specifically aiming for the family and younger children. Favourites like the Runaway Train, JCB World and Buffalo Stampede are joined by new family rides. New attractions are being added - blast off with Rascal Rocket and bounce aboard the Bronco Buggies are two to look out for. Special events are taking place throughout the summer.
