Railway and Museum
A seven-mile journey of steam to the foot of England’s
highest mountains. The Railway carries in the region of 120,000 visitors
per year, making it the most popular privately owned attraction in the
Western Lake District. At least 7-trains per day run between mid-March
and the end of October, while in the high summer this increases to an
intensive 16-trains on the busier days of each week. Click
