Chester Theatre Club is Chester's biggest theatre
club. Formed in 1944, and generally stage 5 or 6 plays each year, it has comfortable
upholstered seating for 126 people in a raked auditorium. It
has a licensed bar, open to all members and visitors to the theatre. The
theatre also boasts a large clubroom which is used for meetings, club evenings
and interval refreshments. To
