The Roman Baths are the best preserved religious spa from the
ancient world. The
Roman Baths are below the modern street level and have four main features,
the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman bath house and finds
from Roman Bath. The Roman Baths are open every day except for 25th & 26th
December. Refreshments are available in the Pump room. Admission charges

The Jane Austen
CentreYou can find The Jane Austen Centre in the heart of the Georgian
Town of Bath. Jane Austen is perhaps the best known and best loved of Bath's
many famous residents and visitors. From 1801 to 1806 Bath was her home
and the Jane Austen Centre is a new permanent exhibition which tells the
story of Jane's Bath experience - the effect that living here had on her

Victoria Art GalleryThe Victoria Art Gallery is a free public art gallery for Bath
and Somerset. Open all year round, it is visited by 92,000 people annually.
The oil paintings in the Gallery's collection date from the fifteenth through
to the twentieth century. Among them are works by painters who were active
in the Bath area, including Thomas Gainsborough, Walter Sickert and J M
W Turner. The Gallery shop is located on the ground floor and sells items
which are ordered in specially to accompany the changing exhibitions. Visit
