The castle was converted by the architect Robert Adam as a
bachelor residence for the Earl of Cassillis, between 1777 and 1792.
There is an armoury with an impressive display of flintlock pistols
and swords. Gardeners can enjoy the Fountain Court, the walled garden
and the Victorian vinery. |
